Gina Maddox has been writing professionally for nearly two decades. Her writing credits range from a year-long weekly column for the Santa Rosa Sun entitled, On Second Thought, a humorous look at marriage and motherhood, to Gina’s more serious assignments on healthcare oriented articles for Opus Communications. Gina has covered subjects in healthcare ranging from, “Keeping Your Electronic Medical Record Confidential,” to reporting on the devastating consequences of a healthcare organization’s failure to monitor care-givers and the resulting serial murders of elderly patients.
Gina was a freelance news reporter for her hometown newspaper, The Sentinel and is the creative editor for ”Winning Strategies For Your JCAHO Survey.” She has served as a speech writer and PowerPoint presentation designer for executives and professional speakers and as a ghost writer. Gina has two decades of experience developing seminar and audio program content for business-related soft skills training.
Trained and mentored by Literary Marketplace Award Winning publicist, Alice Acheson, Gina served as a publicist in the publishing industry landing multiple national television, radio and newspaper placements for her clients.
